TrulySmall offers a convenient feature that automatically sends reminders to your clients when an invoice you sent is still unpaid. This feature is also available for estimates that are scheduled to expire soon.
In this article, we will explain how this feature works and how you can customize it to fit your needs. By customizing the content of your reminders, you can make them more effective and improve your client communication.
How it Works
When you create an invoice or estimate in TrulySmall, you have the option to set a due date for payment. Two days before the due date, TrulySmall will automatically send a reminder to your client to remind them of the upcoming payment. If the invoice remains unpaid after the due date, another reminder will be sent two days after the due date.
For estimates that are scheduled to expire, TrulySmall will also send a reminder two days before the expiration date. This ensures that your clients are aware of the expiration and can take action if they wish to accept the estimate.
Customize All Reminders
TrulySmall allows you to customize the content of your reminders. You can add a personal message or include specific details about the invoice or estimate. This allows you to tailor the reminders to your clients and make them more effective.
You can also choose to disable or enable each reminder. To access these settings, go to Settings and select the Reminders tab.
Once you have made changes, the settings will apply to all NEW documents going forward.
Reminders for Individual Invoices and Estimates
Reminders can be set at the document level (which overrides the default setting). Simply open an invoice or estimate, and select the three dots when reviewing the document.
You can customize reminders for an individual invoice or estimate by editing the options provided.
Additionally, if you select "Send a Reminder Now", you can send a reminder on demand along with a custom message. This will send a reminder immediately.
