The Dashboard in TrulySmall Accounting is a powerful tool that allows you to keep tabs on your key business insights and key performance indicators (KPIs). You can view all of your key business information on a single screen. In addition, the dashboard can also be seen dynamically on any mobile device. Keep in mind, the reports in your Dashboard are calculated with only transactions that have been reviewed and posted to your General Ledger.
Non-reviewed items in the Smart Inbox are not incorporated in your Dashboard until they are reviewed and moved to Transactions.
The Dashboard is divided into the following sections:
Key Metrics (Total Income, Total Expenses, Net Income, Profit Margin)
Top Expenses (up to 8 accounts shown)
Connected bank accounts
Account Balances
Receivables and Payables
Recent Transactions Summary
Cash Flow Forecast
Your Projects
Note: Some Dashboard panels are not available on lower tiers.
You can easily monitor or glance at the dashboard for changes over time. You can also set up notification alerts to notify you of changes in your data or any new information that you need to be aware of. This allows you to stay abreast of key changes in your business without needing to manually monitor them. To learn more about notifications, please read here.
You can hover over any section to explore specific numbers or learn more about how values are calculated.
If you have multiple years of business data, you can see previous years by changing the year selector on the top right.
